Did you happen to miss out on last years' Downtown Grub Crawl? Have no fear, for Tastes of Danbury is here! This will be our new and improved food tour of the year!!! Satisfy your hunger from all four of these delicious restaurants from one of our nation's most diverse culinary cities Danbury, CT.

We've planned out the slightly gluttonous itinerary, so all you have to do is put on a pair of eating pants - trust us, you'll need 'em! We have so many awesome restaurants to check out, that we had to split them into multiple months. Keep in mind, these tickets DO NOT roll over from month to month, so make sure you visit all these restaurants by March 31st!

Are you ready to make your mouth happy with some delicious treats? For the price of just $25 you’ll get to enjoy a special dish at all four (4) of our monthly highlighted restaurants or bakeries. Once a ticket is purchased, you will be emailed four (4) separate tickets - each with the restaurant name attached - which you can print or display from your phone at the time of entry. Only ONE per person, per month- there is a space in the checkout for friends & families names and emails to make bulk purchasing easier!

Below you’ll see the list of restaurants premiered for the month of March, here’s what you have to look forward to this month:



Mothership Bakery [331 Main St.]

From fresh made salad dressings to house-roasted coffee and meat: we’re committed to using all natural ingredients and creating food that doesn’t just taste good, it’s food you can fell good about eating. Our menu features beloved classics and new favorites. Whether you’re stopping in for a sit-down meal, camping out for a meeting, or taking away some comfort food, you'll find a tantalizing variety of food and drinks at Mothership Bakery & Café.

Choose ONE of the following:

• MoM Burrito and a Coffee - Eggs, fresh corn salsa, pepperjack, potatoes 
• Sabrosa - Romaine topped with grilled chicken, fresh corn, mango salsa, avocado slices with chimicurri dressing and queso fresco
• Any sandwich with a bottled drink or regular coffee or Iced Coffee

Empire of the Incas [241 Main St.]

Serving some of the best Peruvian cuisine since 2005 with an eclectic fusion of spices & flavors influenced by Japanese and Chinese cuisines. Empire of the Incas pride & joy is in bringing you the freshest ingredients and most authentic-tasting dishes you will grow to love (if you haven’t already)!

Chose ONE of the following options :

• Papa a la Huancaina - Peruvian sauce made with yellow peppers & fresh white cheese served over boiled potatoes
• Inca Platter - Fried calamari, mussels, white fish & yuca strips served with tartar sauce
• Tamale - Corn tamale stuffed with pork or chicken served with salsa criolla (onion salad)
• Papa Rellena - Baked potato dough stuffed with ground beef, onions, hard boiled eggs and olives served with salsa criolla (onion salad)
• Choclo con Queso - Peruvian choclo (corn with large kernels) served with freshly sliced white cheese
• Anticuchos - Charbroiled beef heart skewers marinated in vinegar & spices served with grilled potatoes
• Choritos a la Chalaca - Steamed mussels covered with freshly chopped onions, corn, avocado, cilantro and lime juice
• Calamares Fritos - Fried lightly breaded calamari
• Camarones Empanizados - Fried lightly breaded shrimps
• Chicken Wings - Choice between plain, spicy & BBQ
• Chicharron de Cerdo con Yuca - Fried pork belly served with fried yuca strips
• Supreme Chicharron - Fried chicken, white fish & pork served with salsa criolla (onion salad)
• Salchippa - Fried hot dogs served over a bed of french fries
• Empanadas - Choice between beef or cheese
• Causa Rellena (Tuna or Chicken) - Peruvian cold mashed potato casserol

Holiday Diner [123 White St.]

Simple food done right. That’s what diners do. And that’s what we aim to do. We’ve combined the classic charm of a local diner with good & simple comfort food in a comfortable environment. It’s a place where everyone is a regular and no one is a stranger. The Holiday Diner has been serving the great people of Danbury since 1947. 

• Cheeseburger w/ Lettuce, Tomato + Signature Milkshake (Strawberry, Vanilla or Chocolate)

Brazas Market & Churrasqueira [51 Liberty St.]

Family owned restaurant that makes many delicious Portuguese food and pastries. At Brazas, customers can find anything form breakfast, lunch and dinner that can't be found anywhere else near by. Everything we make is homemade and done with passion, we look forward to your arrival!

• ½ Rotisserie Chicken w/ French Fries & White Rice
• Chicken Sandwich w/ French Fries & Soda
• Special Soup of the Day w/ (1) Soda, (1) Latte & (1) Homemade Pastry
