Did you happen to miss out on last month's Tastes of Danbury? Have no fear, for April Tastes is here! This will be our new and improved food tour of the year!!! Satisfy your hunger from all four of these delicious restaurants from one of our nation's most diverse culinary cities Danbury, CT.

We've planned out the slightly gluttonous itinerary, so all you have to do is put on a pair of eating pants - trust us, you'll need 'em! We have so many awesome restaurants to check out, that we had to split them into multiple months. Keep in mind, these tickets DO NOT roll over from month to month, so make sure you visit all these restaurants by April 30th!

Are you ready to make your mouth happy with some delicious treats? For just $25 you’ll enjoy a special dish at all four (4) of our monthly highlighted restaurants, food trucks or bakeries. Once a ticket is purchased, you will be emailed four (4) separate tickets - each with the restaurant name attached - which you can print or display from your phone at the time of entry. Only ONE per person, per month- there is a space in the checkout for friends & families names and emails to make bulk purchasing easier!

Below you’ll see the list of restaurants that premiered for the month of April, here’s what you have to look forward to this month:



Cocina Del Tio [278 Main St.]

If you are looking for a great Latin food experience, wait no more. At Cocia Del Tio, we are more than just a restaurant, we are a mouthwatering experience! We specialize in Ecuadorian food among a few others.

Choose ONE of the following:

• Special Dish of the Day - Varies daily, please ask the server
• Tostones Rellenos – Stuffed Tostones (w/ shrimp & lobster sauce)
• Avocado Salad - Avocado sliced over a bed of mixed green salad, dressing: provinciano vinaigrette (may add chicken)
• Cesar Salad (may add chicken)

FRESH [259 Main St.]

Here at FRESH, we take pride in making our craft with no artificial ingredients, low sugar, and no added junk. We don't use sugar or sugar-based syrups to flavor any of our menu items. We only use all-natural ingredients that your body can recognize and utilize!

Choose ONE of the following:

• Any salad with any small FRESH juice or tea infusion
• Any 12oz smoothie with 1 slice of toast
• Any bowl
• 2 slices of toast with infused tea or a yogurt parfait
• Any 20oz FRESH juice or smoothie

El Ranchero [20 White St.]

El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant is a family-owned and operated business serving the greater Danbury area for over 20 years. We dedicate to serving fresh and authentic Mexican food to our greater downtown Danbury community and surrounding towns. Choose ONE of the following:

• Fajitas: Your choice of protein sautéed with onions, green peppers, tomatoes, served on a hot skillet. Served with pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, tortillas, rice and beans on the side.

Protein options: chicken, steak, or vegetables mix 

• Flautas: Three rolled corn tortilla, filled with your choice of filling. Topped with lettuce, sour cream, cotija cheese. Served with guacamole, rice and beans on the side.

Filling options: chicken, shredded beef, or cheese

• Burrito Ranchero: Large flour tortilla filled with your choice of protein, lettuce, guacamole and sour cream. Served with a rice and beans on the side.

Protein options: chicken, steak or vegetable mix

Gomez Bakery [78 White St.]

We offer a wide variety of bread, personalized cakes, breakfasts, natural juices, chocolate, sandwiches, and much more. With the best flavors for any occasion, you must stop by and have yourself a treat!!

Choose ONE of the following:

• 8 Baked goods from the bakery
• Medium fresh pressed juice with (1) dessert
• Large fresh juice with (3) mini cookies
• Large hot beverage with (2) fresh breads

Choose one of the HOT beverages:

Morocho - a thick sweet drink mode of corn, milk, cinnamon, sugar, and raisins

Hot Chocolate

Oatmeal with Naranjilla - fruity oatmeal drink
